Industrial Crate Washer
Continuous tunnel crate washer delivering thorough cleaning and sanitisation of plastic and metal crates at up to 1,200 crates per hour.
High-throughput crate hygiene for demanding production environments.
The Industrial Crate Washer is a continuous tunnel system designed to clean and sanitise plastic and metal crates used in dairy, beverage, food processing, and agriculture operations. Crates are conveyed through a sequence of pre-rinse, hot caustic wash, intermediate rinse, and final sanitising rinse zones — removing product residues, labels, and microbial contamination before crates re-enter the production cycle.
High-impact spray nozzles are positioned above, below, and on both sides of the conveyor to ensure complete coverage of all crate surfaces, including the base and internal corners. Wash water is recirculated through a filtration system to remove solids, reducing water and chemical consumption while maintaining wash effectiveness throughout the production shift.
The stainless-steel frame and conveyor are designed for easy access and cleaning. Nozzle headers can be removed without tools for inspection and descaling. The PLC control system monitors wash temperatures, conveyor speed, and chemical dosing, with alarms for out-of-specification conditions to protect product safety.
